5.6. These measures are tailored to the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing of personal data.
Despite the use of appropriate safeguards, no method of transmitting data over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. GPS GO recommends that Customers use appropriate security measures, in particular strong passwords, restricted access to user accounts, and secure devices used to access the Service.
6.2. All persons authorised by GPS GO to process personal data are bound by confidentiality obligations or are subject to an appropriate statutory duty of secrecy. Access to personal data is restricted to persons for whom it is necessary to carry out duties relating to the provision of the Service.
6.3. If a personal data breach is identified, GPS GO will, without undue delay, notify the Customer of the breach where it concerns data processed on the Customer’s behalf. 7.3. The audit may be carried out by an independent and qualified entity with appropriate experience in personal-data protection. The choice of auditor requires GPS GO’s prior approval, which may not be unreasonably withheld.
7.4. The audit is carried out after the date has been agreed in advance with GPS GO, in a manner that does not disrupt the normal functioning of the Service, GPS GO’s technical infrastructure, or its operational activities. Persons carrying out the audit are required to keep confidential all information obtained during the audit.
7.5. The Customer may carry out an audit no more often than once every 24 months, unless applicable law, a decision of the competent supervisory authority, or an identified personal-data breach justifies an additional audit.
7.6. The costs of carrying out the audit, including the costs of an auditor appointed by the Customer, are borne by the Customer, unless the audit reveals a material breach by GPS GO of its obligations under this Agreement.
8.1. GPS GO reserves the right to make changes to this Agreement, in particular in the event of changes in law, the introduction of new functionality, services or security measures, or organisational changes relating to the provision of the Service.
